Porter’s Paints have released a range of new colours in their “Colour Library” perfectly timed for the Spring/Summer/Autumn painting season.
The new colour ranges offer an update to the Porter’s Collection supporting the 2025/2026 colour trend predictions, with warmer earthy tones, neutrals as well as a new range of calming blues. Here at Thornton & Blake, we’re loving the soft pinkish hue of Light Rosso with it’s warm Sandstone Influence as well as the richness of Sorrento, inspired by warm, earthy terracotta.
In the Neutrals palette, Haloumi offers the perfect warm grey for our Blue Mountains cold climate, along with the latte toned Tiramisu and warmth of rubble.
For lovers of Blue, Newport Blue is a lovely, tranquil softer grey blue while Hamptons Blue brings a more dramatic tone of Blue onto your walls.
The new library is organised into 5 distinct ranges, White/Off-Whites, Yellows/Pinks/Reds, Neutrals/Browns, Blues/Greens and Greys/Blacks. As expert colour consultants, we love that these colour cards offer a solution beyond the initial colour vision, perfect for consulting on location, where the true light of the space may call for a variation on the client’s original idea.
Additionally, we have been very excited to add to the Thornton & Blake Porters range the Revive Furniture paint, which has a built-in wax for a durable finish, without the need to apply a separate topcoat. This DIY dream will revive your old favourite furniture pieces with a new lease of life, offering hard-wearing protection in an elegant satin finish. Revive is also perfect to use on doors, shelving, woodwork, skirting a trim! Available in a range of porters colour favourites, including Irish linen, Half Hailstorm and Half Olive Grove, to a more striking Black Cockatoo, this range is well worth stepping into Thornton & Blake and allowing the inspiration to flow.
